Detailed Itinerary

| Day
1-2 |
Leave Home City. Arrive in Bangkok, Thailand. Overnight in Bangkok
at the Amari Airport Hotel. Depart on morning flight from Bangkok
for Nepal. |
| Day 3 |
Arrive Kathmandu, Nepal.
Transfer to Hotel Vajra. The
trip officially
begins on our first night in Nepal at 5:00 PM at the Vajra Hotel. Evening orientation meeting at
hotel with all trek members, trek leaders and Nepali guides. |
| Day 4 |
Morning tour of Boudanath,
world's largest Buddhist shrine and primary residence of Tibetan
and Buddhist communities. Visit monasteries, shops and teahouses.
Visit Pashupatinath, sacred Hindu shrine on the headwaters of the
Ganges. Free afternoon for last minute shopping and rentals. |

5 |
Morning
flight to the Sherpa village of Phaplu (8,100 ft.). After final
organizing of gear and lunch we trek a short distance to Chiwong
Gompa - "Monastery above the Clouds" perched high up on the cliffs
with magnificent views of the Solu Khumbu Valley. We will arrive
at Chiwong (9,100 ft) in the late afternoon, settle into our camp
and experience the pageantry of famed mani Rimdu festivities and
ceremony. |

6 |
Morning
attendance at Mani Rimdu. Private audiance and blessings
from Trulsig Rimpoche. After ceremonies we travel through
surreal cloud forests to Ringmo (9,500 ft.) |

7 |
Continue
along the historic abandoned Everest route to Stone House Camp.
(11,000 ft.) |
| Day
8 |
Trek through
more blue pine, oak and rhododendron forests, emerging above timberline
at high camp of Beni (12,700 ft). Incredible views of Karyolung
(21,960 ft) and Numbar Himal (22,800 ft), known to the Sherpas
as Shorong Yul La - God of the Solu. |
| Day
9 |
Day hike
to Dudh Kund (15,000 ft.) - Sacred milk lake and pilgrimage site
for Tibetan Tantric Lamas and Hindu Shamans. This setting is magical
and we will take the opportunity to take full advantage of this
sacred space. |
| Day 10 |
The ultimate trekking
day!! Ascend to nearly 15,000 ft. for a spectacular ridge walk
with views including Mt. Everest. Descending through yak herder's
high pastures and alpine lakes, we arrive at Tupten Choling, Nepal's
largest mountain monastery. |
| Day
11 |
Return
to Phaplu and overnight at R.P. Lama's Hotel Des Sherpas with hot
showers, a sauna and a roaring fire amidst the incomparable hospitality
of the Sherpa people. |
| Day
12 |
Morning
flight from Phaplu to Kathmandu. Rest of the day free. |
| Day 13 |
Morning pilgrimage
to Swayambunath, also known as the Monkey Temple which is shared
by Hindus and Buddhists and has magnificent views of the Kathmandu
Valley. Rest of day free. |
| Day
14 |
Today we
will help you find all those legendary Kathmandu bargains, and
help facilitate whatever kind of a day you wish to have. Farewell
dinner and Indian music at Gar-Y-Kabab, Kathmandu's finest. |
| Day 15 |
Depart Kathmandu for
the US. Overnight in Bangkok. |
| Day 16 |
Arrive Home. |
