Canceled Trips
Still Water Travel reserves the right to cancel any
trip prior to departure for any reason whatsoever, including insufficient
sign-up or logistical problems that will impede trip operations. The
refund of all payments received shall release Still Water Travel from
any further liability. Still Water Travel is not responsible for non
recoverable expenses incurred by trip members in preparing for a canceled
trip, such as non-refundable advance purchase air tickets, visa fees,
equipment, etc., nor for any necessary additional arrangements should
the applicant have embarked prior to the group's departure date.
We highly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance that
covers the full land and air cost of your trip. If we are forced
to cancel the trip for reasons within our control, you will be entitled
to a full refund of all payments made toward the trip. The low
cost Travel Insurance is meant to protect you in case you must, for any
reason, cancel your participation in the trip or if Still Water Travel
is forced to cancel the trip due to circumstances beyond our control.
Any cancellation on your behalf during the trip will not be entitled
to any refund of payments made.
Items not included in trip costs:
Medical expenses, costs of hospitalization or evacuation
from remote areas, laundry, airport departure taxes not included on your
ticket, accommodations en route to base cities, visas, airfares, gratuities,
and insurance. If a trip must be extended or an itinerary modified due
to weather, road conditions, lack of transportation, political or civil
disputes, medical emergency or other causes beyond our control, all associated
costs including any non-recoverable costs are not included in the trip
rates or refunds. You must obtain trip cancellation insurance to cover
these costs.
Limitations of liability
In many cases, suppliers of tour services are independent
contractors to Still Water Travel, not its employees. For example, we
use independent ground operators, tour guides, hotels, transportation
companies, drivers, airlines, and other suppliers. Because we do not
own, operate, manage, control, or supervise these entities, we cannot
be liable for any acts or omissions, including any negligence, gross
negligence, or reckless or willful acts, on their part. Still Water Travel,
its owners, agents, and employees assume no responsibility for any injury,
loss, damage, delay, or death to person or property arising from the
negligent or willful act or failure to act of any person who is to or
does provide goods or services for this trip or for the action or inaction
of any other third party. Without limitation, Still Water Travel is not
responsible for acts of God, equipment failures, vehicle accidents, illness
from food or otherwise, detention, assaults, theft or criminal activity,
annoyance, delays, quarantine, strikes, failure of any means of conveyance
to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, terrorism, government
restrictions or regulations, and discrepancies or changes in transit
or hotel services over which it has no control. Reasonable changes in
the itinerary may be made where deemed advisable for the comfort and
well being of the passengers. The right is reserved to substitute hotels,
alter the itinerary, and reverse the order of places to be visited. You
will be informed of any necessary changes in a timely fashion.
On advancement of deposit to Still Water Travel, the depositor therefore
agrees to be bound by the above recited terms and conditions. These may
be partial conditions. Your participation is contingent on the full list
of terms specified in the Planning Guide sent to you after placing a
deposit on your program. |
