WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE!!!!
Xeruini Camp
Experience an exclusive peacock bass adventure in the heart of the Brazilian Amazon. The Xeruini River is a vast, protected system where anglers have the opportunity to hunt and target large peacock bass in diverse and lightly pressured water.
Long-term protection and limited access have allowed this fishery to flourish. With extensive river miles, side channels, and lagoons, peacock bass grow large and plentiful, offering anglers meaningful opportunities throughout the week.

Trip Overview
The Xeruini River is a true fishing-camp experience designed around access, opportunity, and diversity. This program is built for anglers who want long days on the water, aggressive fish, and a system that rewards effort and adaptation.
Fishing takes place across an expansive and lightly pressured section of the Xeruini River, including main river, side channels, lagoons, and backwaters. BIG flies and 9–10wt rods are the standard, with peacock bass forming the backbone of the fishery. High daily numbers are common, often in the range of 30–40 peacocks per day, with consistent opportunities at larger fish pushing beyond the 15-pound mark.
What truly sets the Xeruini apart is that it is not just a peacock bass destination. This is a multi-species fishery where anglers intentionally target arapaima, arowana, wolf fish, and several large predatory catfish species. These are not incidental encounters. Different habitats throughout the system are fished with specific species in mind.
Protected access, minimal pressure, and an experienced guide team allow anglers to fish hard while continually adjusting techniques, fly selection, and presentation. This is a hands-on, learning-driven experience where expectations often evolve quickly once anglers see just how much water and opportunity the system holds.

The Xeruini operates as a fishing camp rather than a traditional lodge. Accommodations are provided in large, single-occupancy safari-style tents designed to offer comfort without removing anglers from the experience.
Each tent is air-conditioned and outfitted with a comfortable bed and private space to unwind after full days on the water. The setup allows anglers to rest well, stay organized, and recharge while maintaining a close connection to the fishing and daily rhythm of camp life.
Meals are prepared daily at camp, fishing days are full and flexible, and the overall pace is designed to support long, productive days followed by proper rest. The balance of comfort and immersion makes the Xeruini camp well-suited for anglers who want serious fishing without sacrificing recovery.
